We were recently contacted by Jane Dolby of Fishwives Choir (a charity which we support) to let us know that they are in the running for the Christmas Number One Spot 2013. The most amazing part of this story is THEY ARE THE ONLY contenders who don’t have a record deal, management or any financial backing. They are doing this completely on their own.
All the money from their single (royalties etc) goes to the Fishermen’s Mission, this shows that “giving is the real message and spirit of Christmas”.
